Don’t miss the brewery tours! We opted for the premium tour, which was just the right length, giving us a glimpse into Rascals’ humble beginnings and exciting future. After the tour, enjoying pizza and pints was the perfect way to unwind—the beers were unique and delicious, and the stone-oven pizzas were extraordinary.
I had the chance to try the Buffalo Saints pizza, which I highly recommend, paired with the Basil & Raspberry Saison pilot beer. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Our guide Gina was fantastic, and the entire tour was a highlight.

Using sourdough for their pizza dough, Forno 500 crafts a lightly cooked crust with a perfect balance of chewiness and density—ideal for those who appreciate a heartier, more satisfying pizza base. The pizzas are simple, focusing on high-quality ingredients like extra virgin olive oil and fresh basil, making them a true celebration of classic flavors.
The menu also features some exciting twists, offering unique pizzas like the frutti di mare (€19) and the capricciosa light (€17.50), along with the Montana white pizza, a crowd favorite, especially when paired with a pint of stout. When Pi first opened, long queues were the norm, and the excitement around it was absolutely justified.
The menu at Pi is simple but refined, focusing on high-quality ingredients and innovative flavor combinations. I opted for their signature Nduja pizza, which was outstanding. I had been eager to try it, and my recent visit confirmed it lives up to the hype.
Nestled in the Powerscourt Shopping Centre, which once housed the garden of Powerscourt House, Little Pyg offers a beautiful setting. The restaurant’s décor is striking, featuring chandeliers made of ostrich feathers and walls that have stood for over 25 years. The space is always stylishly adorned, and I especially loved the seasonal flowers on the tables—this time, little purple clovers added a charming touch.
Once you settle in, it’s easy to forget you’re in a shopping center, as the ambiance feels like a refined restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed, with great music playing, and despite the crowds, the setting is never too noisy. The tables are well-spaced, making it a perfect spot for a casual conversation with friends.
Before visiting, I had read a few mixed reviews about the service, with some mentioning slow drink service, soggy pizzas, and small tables. I was curious about the Michelin recognition, though, so I decided to give it a go. The cozy, exposed brick interior adds to the welcoming atmosphere at Little Richard’s, and the friendly staff, especially Patrick, ensures a warm and inviting dining experience. Although our server was a bit inexperienced, he was polite and handled the situation professionally, even when dealing with some rude customers.
But of course, the true star is the pizza. Having ordered from Little Richard’s multiple times, I can confidently say their wood-fired pizzas are consistently outstanding. The crust has a delightful smoky flavor, and the ingredients are incredibly fresh. We tried the Meat Pizza and El Diablo, paired with garlic bread, garlic dip, and pints of Guinness—absolutely fantastic. The dough was so impressive that I’d happily order just a bowl of crusts with their garlic dip.
Speaking of dips, Little Richard’s homemade options are on another level. Both the black truffle garlic dip and pesto are exceptional, making it tough to pick a favorite.

In another instance, a customer accidentally ordered pizzas for the wrong night, but Little Richard’s quickly refunded the amount and rebooked the order for the correct night.

They take extra care, cooking it on a separate tray to prevent cross-contamination.
Feeling bold? Try the #7 pizza, which features black pudding and dark chocolate—a combination that may sound unusual, but BoCo makes it work with their signature flair. Their pizzas are baked in a French oven using Slovakian dough with a unique tang, making every bite a standout.
The vibe at BoCo is laid-back yet lively, with staff who are not only friendly but genuinely enthusiastic about their pizzas. They’re always eager to offer suggestions and make you feel like part of the pizza-loving family.
